Some very special guests at Manor Farm
On Wednesday 1 September we were delighted to welcome some very special visitors - 8 children from Mogilev, Bellarus, in the region worst affected by the Chernobyl nuclear accident of 1986. Local families and volunteers host the children and their teachers for a while to give them and their parents a break from conditions back home. We were thrilled to give the kids a chance to see and fuss the animals and owls - and play, of course. Children playing is universal and doesn't recognise language or political barriers!

Adopting an animal at Manor Farm can make the perfect gift - it's personal, it lasts all year, and it has a very low carbon footprint! When you adopt an animal you can visit them, maybe groom them or even take them for a walk (depending on the animal, of course) If you adopt an owl you can, of course, get to hold it!
Silver and Gold Adoptions even include free passes to visit Manor Farm, to add that extra bit - and you can have the certificate framed for a little extra and posted anywhere in the uk mainland.

Hoots Hollows is well worth a special visit!

Hoots Hollows - owls from around the world >>>more
Hoots Hollows has one of the largest collections of owls in the country - currently 46 owls from around the World, many of them rescued! You can see the ever-popular Barn owls, Tawnys and Snowy owls, but also the more unusual varieties such as the Great Greys, Indian Scops and Ashy Faced owls.
What is really great is that you can get close enough in our indoor arena to touch and stroke them, hold them, even have your photo taken with them. How good is that? |

How about this for the perfect gift?
Adopt an animal at Manor Farm for your special someone, and present them with a framed certificate.
They can come and visit their adopted animal whenever they want, and, depending on the animal, groom them, fuss them and take them for a walk!
Its ethical, eco-friendly, and has a very, very tiny carbon footprint! We will even post the certficate to them and, if you wish, mount it in a smart presentation frame.
To give your gift that extra appeal, go for a Gold Adoption (with or without frame) and include free tickets for the family!
