The children of Our Lady's Convent School donate their Harvest Festival proceeds
Mrs Hemstock (R) and Mrs Marshall stand proudly behind the produce collected by the Infants of Our Lady's Convent School in Loughborough, Leicestershire. The children and school have very generously donated all of the produce to the animals at Manor Farm, and they had a real treat that weekend!
Ron & Sharon from the schools team took Albert, our mottled Belgian bantam cockerel, to say thank you to the children at the school. He showed his gratitude in his own way on behalf of all of his friends. The children loved being able to stroke Albert and learn all about him. He is a particularly handsome fellah - especially his feathery legs! |

Sad news..............
Terry the Turkey, Wilbur the Old English Black pig & Perry the sheep have passed away.
They will be greatly missed as they were all real characters at Manor Farm and have been with us for a long time.
We are taking comfort in the thought that we gave them a long and happy life while they were with us.
A special thank you goes to all those who adopted Terry, Wilbur & Perry (and other animals) to help us take care of them.

How about this for the perfect Christmas gift?
Adopt an animal at Manor Farm for your special someone, and present them with a framed certificate.
They can come and visit their adopted animal whenever they want, and, depending on the animal, groom them, fuss them and take them for a walk!
Its ethical, eco-friendly, and has a very, very tiny carbon footprint! We will even post the certficate to them and, if you wish, mount it in a smart presentation frame.
